Levitz ranked ninth in singles play in ITA Northeast Region

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby College's Carly Levitz (Chappaqua, N.Y.), after a fine fall season in her first year with the Mules, is ranked ninth in singles play in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Region.

"This is a nice recognition for Carly as she had a very nice fall campaign" Colby head coach Adam Reeb said. " A recognition for one of our players is a recognition for the whole team, so we're all excited for this and motivated to keep trying to get better every day and get ready to do as well as we can in the spring."
Levitz and doubles partner Olivia Scordo won the 'B' Flight at Bates College's Wallach Doubles Invitational.
At the New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament (NEWITT), Levitz and Scordo won the consolation round of the 'A' Flight. Levitz also played singles in the tourney and went 4-0.
Colby opens the spring season at home against Franklin Pierce on Sunday, March 10, at noon.
