Women's swim team wins four events against Mammoths

AMHERST, Mass. -- Colby College first-year Addie PaIge won two events in her first collegiate race to help the women's swimming and diving team take four events against Amherst College on Saturday.

Olivia Hammer-Grant and first-year Hannah Griffin also won events for the Mules.
Paige won the 500 freestyle (5:14.94) and the 1,000 freestyle (10:43.73) to sweep the distance races. She also placed second in the 200 butterfly (2:11.81).
Hammer-Grant took the 50 freestyle in 25.22, while Griffin had a 2:11.72 in taking the 200 backstroke. Hammer-Grant also took third in the 100 freestyle (56.40) and Griffin had a second in the 200 individual medley (2:16.96) and was third in the 200 butterfly (1:59.49). 
Hannah McGrath added a third in the 100 backstroke (1:03.38) and Tess White took third in the 100 butterfly (1:04.45).
Hammer-Grant, Katie Tuohy, White, and Paige combined for a time of 3:44.32 in taking second in the 400 freestyle relay.
The Mammoths won the dual meet by a score of 168-123.
