Megan Morrison has been hired to join Head Coach Kristin Shaw as the Assistant Coach of the Colby women's soccer team. Morrison comes to Colby from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she was an assistant coach and specialized in the instruction of goalkeepers and backs. In conjunction with her work at WPI, which she started in 2018, Morrison served as a coach in the Massachusetts Olympic Development Program.
Morrison's educational experience goes beyond coaching. From 2014-2018, she taught English and Visual Arts at Middlesex School, while also helping coach their varsity soccer team and junior varsity tennis team. She was also a special education tutor at Concord Carlisle High School from 2013 to 2014.
Morrison earned her bachelors degree from Carleton College, where she majored in Arts in Spanish and Studio Art. At Carleton, Morrison was a four year varsity player and senior captain. In 2010, she helped her team to a MIAC conference championship.
