After a fine career as a goaltender for the University of Maine, Meghann Treacy is in her third year as the assistant coach for the Colby women's hockey team in the 2018-19 academic year.
Treacy, a captain for the 2015-16 NCAA Division I Black Bears and a 2016 graduate, was a Hockey East First Team All-Star after the 2014-15 season.
In her senior season, Treacy broke the record for most games (33) played by a Maine goalie in a season. She finished second for most saves (927) in a season, and her .921 save percentage was fifth-best in school history.
Treacy was second all-time for the Black Bears in career games played (99) and career saves (2,848). She also finished second in career save percentage (.918) and third in career wins (23).
Treacy, who is from Lake Peekskill, N.Y., played ice hockey and field hockey at Williston Northampton School before attending Maine.
