Women's hockey heads to Hamilton for quarterfinal playoff game

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The Colby College women's hockey team earned the sixth seed in the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championships and will travel to Hamilton College for a quarterfinal game Saturday at 4 p.m.
The Mules (12-9-3 overall) are in a quarterfinal game for the second straight year, falling at Connecticut College last year.
Hamilton, the third seed, took 4-2 and 2-0 wins over Colby at Alfond Rink. However, those games were played back on November 30 and December 1.
If the Mules can beat the Continentals, they would play the NESCAC Final Four at the highest seeded team remaining. Williams College is the top seed.
