Bailin continues 400 M hurdles dominance with win at DIII New England Championships

WIILIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Men's Outdoor Track and Field Team competed in the Division III New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past Friday and Saturday. The championship hosted teams across all leagues in the region and was won by MIT.

Sage Bailin again notched the biggest highlight of the meet, winning the 400 M hurdles in a time of 53.52 seconds. Tanner Burton also sprinted onto the podium, finishing 3rd in the 110 M hurdles with a time of 15.16. Bailin finished 10th in that event.

The Mules notched several other top 20 finishes at the meet. Reeve Maddux finished 15th in the 5000 M with a time of 15:30.41 and Benjamin Smith ran to 17th in the 200 M final in 22.61.

Colby next competes at the New England Championships, a competition across all collegiate divisions, next Friday and Saturday at Southern Connecticut State University.
