Four earn All-NESCAC honors for men's track and field

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Sage Bailin kept up his record-breaking spring men's track and field season by winning the 400-meter hurdles at the league meet and earning All-New England Small College Athletic Conference honors.

Bailin also earned All-NESCAC honors with Ben Smith, Jimmy O'Donnell (pictured), and Marcques Houston after placing third in the 1,600 relay on Saturday at Trinity College. The top three in each event earned all-league honors.

Bailin broke the 400 hurdles record for the third week in a row with a time of 53.07. He has broken the record in three states -- first in New Hampshire, the second week in New Jersey, and last weekend in Connecticut. Bailin heads to Massachusetts this weekend for the New England Division III Championships at MIT.

Smith was the lead runner in the 1,600 relay and was followed by Bailin. O'Donnell ran the third leg and Marcques Houston finished up on the anchor leg. The foursome had a time of 3:19.44.
