Men's tennis beats Santa Cruz

CLAREMONT, Calif. -- Hans Hwang (pictured) went three sets to win at fourth singles and teamed with Luis Gonzalez Kompalic for a third doubles victory for Colby College in a 6-3 win over University of California at Santa Cruz on Wednesday.

Max Schuermann and Garrett Reiter won 8-1 at second doubles for the Mules (3-4 overall).
First singles player Scott Altmeyer took a 7-5, 6-3 win against Chad Le Duff. The Mules also had singles wins from Reiter at three and Hallal at the fifth spot.
Colby will take on Pacific (Ore.) on Thursday at 1 p.m. (EST).
