Men's hockey ready for final two home games, seniors to be honored

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The Colby College men's hockey team will try to clinch a home quarterfinal game for the New England Small College Athletic Conference playoffs with two home games to end the regular season.

The Mules (11-6-4 overall, 9-4-3 NESCAC) will entertain Connecticut College on Friday at 7 p.m. at Alfond Rink. Tufts University and the Mules meet on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Colby seniors Devin Albert, Jack Burton, Kevin Doherty, Scott Fenwick, Kai Frankville, EJ Rauseo, Colin Reilly, and Geoff Sullivan will be honored before Saturday's game.

The top four teams in the standings will host a quarterfinal game next Saturday. The Mules are one of four teams with a chance to finish first in the league and have home ice advantage throughout the conference playoffs. 

Williams College heads into the weekend with 23 points, Hamilton College is at 22 points, the Mules have 21 points, and Trinity College is fourth with 20. Williams has a road game at Amherst College and then plays Saturday at Hamilton, which hosts Middlebury College on Friday.  Trinity plays a home-and-home series with Wesleyan University.
