Men's basketball will play NESCAC quarterfinal game at Hamilton

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The seventh-seeded Colby College men's basketball  team will make the long trip to second-seeded Hamilton College for a New England Small College Athletic Conference quarterfinal game Saturday at 3 p.m.
The Mules (17-7 overall, 5-5 NESCAC) made the trip already this year and earned an 86-78 victory over then sixth-ranked Hamilton. The loss by the Continentals was the only setback at Scott Field House this season. Hamilton (21-3, 7-3 NESCAC), currently ranked 10th in the country, is 10-1 on its home court.
Hamilton clinched the second seed after taking an 81-77 home win over Amherst College on Wednesday night.
Colby went 4-1 in NESCAC road games this year, including wins in the last four league contests.
In the January 26 game against Hamilton, Sam Jefferson (pictured) had 29 points, hit six 3-point shots, and had eight rebounds. Noah Tyson had 19 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Wallace Tucker scored 12 and dished six assists.
