Hust heads to her first NCAA meet with five top-10 slalom finishes

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. -- Colby College alpine skier Rosie Hust has already made her first year with the Mules memorable with five top-10 slalom finishes. She gets a chance to compete against the best in the country at the NCAA Division I Championships on Wednesday and Friday in Colorado.

Hust will first ski in the giant slalom on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. (EST) on Mount Werner. She gets a chance at night racing Friday in the slalom at 8:45 p.m. (EST) at Howelsen Hill.
Hust was known as a slalom skier and has not disappointed Colby alpine ski head coach Danny Noyes. She earned her fifth top-10 Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) finish after placing seventh at the Eastern Championships.
