Fall sport teams have seven on NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Seven Colby College athletes earned New England Small College Athletic Conference Fall All-Sportsmanship Team honors Tuesday.

Men's cross country first-year Ewan Frick (Kansas City, Mo.), women's cross country junior Sonia Tremblay (Billerica, Mass.), field hockey junior Eliza Mell (Far Hills, N.J.), football senior Matt Richman (Sudbury, Mass.), men's soccer senior Cam Clouse (Holliston, Mass.), women's soccer senior Catherine Fraser (Orono, Minn.), and volleyball senior Paige Hanssen (Earlysville, Va.) were honored for Colby.
 
Clouse earned All-NESCAC Second Team honors, while Hanssen was selected as an American Volleyball Coaches Association Northeast Region Honorable Mention pick. Tremblay was an All-New England runner after taking 33rd at the regional meet. 
 
Fraser was the leading scorer on the women's soccer team, Mell was fourth on the field hockey team in scoring, and Richman was fourth in total receptions for football.
 
Frick was the lone first-year runner to earn the award and was one of only two rookie athletes to be honored in sports where Colby had competitors.
